Septemberfest Wiffle Ball is played just like baseball.  However there are the following exceptions that all teams should know about:

1.  The field is set up with 45 foot bases and a pitching distance of approximately 35 feet.  Fence distances are approximately 90 feet in the corners and 100 feet to center.  In 2021 the 12U field was set up at 80 and 90 feet respectively.  

2.  The bat: standard yellow wiffle ball bats are supplied.  Teams are not allowed to bring their own bats.  

3.  The ball:  Only standard wiffle ball brand balls will be used.

4.  All batters start with a 1 ball and 1 strike count.  An umpire will call balls and strikes.  

5.  Lob Ball is the rule.  Pitchers can spin the ball and make it curve, but must not throw fastballs.  Umpires discretion is the rule.

6.  No bunting.

7.  No stealing.

8.  Teams are allowed 7 players on the field at a time.  Rosters are allowed a maximum of 10 players.
